Working under limited supervision, the Procurement Specialist will guide and assist the Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) in the process of task order solicitations and task order response form evaluations. Provide guidance to department personnel on requisition requests. May use a range of purchasing and contracting methods to procure products and services. Develop solicitations to award contracts for the provision of goods and services that meet Department of Forestry and Fire Management needs throughout the State. Evaluates risks associated with contracts, writes specialized requirements, develops contract language and performs cost or price analysis. May work in cooperation with or on behalf of local and federal governmental agencies. Track contracts, agreements, and Certificates of Insurance expiration dates and updates as needed. May create Purchase Requisitions (PR) and enter PR information into the Arizona Procurement Portal to create Purchase Orders. May also enter invoice Receipts to pay contractor invoices. |
