SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

| • Under limited supervision, the Senior Procurement Specialist develops, negotiates, and administers contracts and agreements; and collaborates with governmental agencies to obtain or provide goods, trades or professional services, Information Technology, and other critical services.
• The position:
• Administers grants and memorandums of understanding;
• Establishes and administers highly technical / complex solicitations for the agency. It is responsible for ensuring the timeliness, accuracy and quality of solicitations, agreement, contracts, bids and proposals;
• Routinely coordinates and communicates with end users and contractors regarding contractual requirements and amendments;
• Responsible for conducting pre-offer conferences, evaluations committee meetings, and post award meetings;
• Interprets and implements statutory, procedural, and policy requirements; and
• Serves as a reliable resource to the agency and the Procurement team
• Rare in-state travel is required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate. |

LAND DISPOSITION PROJECT LEADER 2

| Under general direction, is responsible for initiating and executing real estate actions characterized by complexity and high visibility to leadership to include (but not limited to) leases, purchases, and rights-of-way. Incumbent shall track the disposition of real estate actions, their deficiencies and their expirations, where applicable. Will prepare and submit a budget to fund all actions and attend necessary meetings with leadership or stakeholders to keep them apprised of needs and progress on projects. Regularly corresponds with outside agencies, partners and internal customers, and in this high visibility post is expected to foster and maintain good relationships with all partners to facilitate ease of operations. Conducts research on contemporary and historical documentation to assist with the upkeep of relevant Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases and to keep the Environmental section apprised of any new real estate actions that would require advisement. Performs periodic on-site inspections of new properties. Receives, and routes inbound lease invoices for payment and writes scope of work for contracted services, such as surveys and appraisals. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement of workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics. |

| The Business Services Representative performs advanced customer service functions by responding to inquiries and requests initiated by the public via telephone, email, mail and in-person interactions. This position is responsible for processing and fulfilling Public Records Requests, reviewing and determining the approval or rejection of Remote Online Notary (RON) and Electronic Notary applications, and managing all notary- related submissions in accordance with established statutes, policies, and procedurals standards. Job assignments and responsibilities may evolve based on operation needs. Employees in this role are expected to develop proficiency across multiple functional areas and will eventually be cross trained to provide support in all relevant Business Services operations.
