| This position reports to the Bureau Chief of Women's and Children's Health and will serve as a lead program manager on key maternal and child health activities and grants. This position is responsible for managing major federal block grants administered by ADHS, the Title V Maternal Child Health Block Grant ($7.4 million) and the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant ($1.8 million), as well as a number of sub recipient contracts with block grant sub-recipients and contractors. |

| The Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) operates all types of heavy engineering equipment and material handling equipment to include, but not limited to, 75-ton mobile crane, road graders, bulldozers, front end loaders and 10–20-ton dump trucks in support of road maintenance and railroad maintenance operations. May serve as lead HEO on specific projects ensuring workload requirements are completed as scheduled. Supervises a Department of Corrections inmate work crew as required.

| At the operations level, under general supervision of a fire department Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and/or Installation Fire Chief, perform prevention, control and extinguish all types of fires on the ground. Coordinate and perform related rescue, first aid, and property conservation. Includes fires or potential fires involving structures, wildland, aircraft, missiles and separate component weapons or other materials. Perform operations and operator maintenance of all types of firefighting and related rescue vehicles, equipment systems and devices in support of overall base emergency contingency operations. A 48/96 hour shift type work schedule will be followed, (2 days on shift/4 days off shift). Overtime may be required depending on mission requirements. Position may require temporary relocation to serve at other Arizona Army National Guard fire stations.

| This position is a specialized Operations Compliance Officer (OCO) on the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) team within the Division of Managed Care. The position is responsible for having a comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulation regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and service to dually-eligible individuals. In addition, this position provides Medicare expertise inside and outside the agency and is responsible for advancing the health care system as it relates to Special Needs Plans, Medicare/Medicaid alignment, service coordination, and related monitoring/oversight. This position will continually look for system improvements and efficiencies to improve the lives of the members as well as promote better health outcomes and reduced costs. This position will work independently and advise agency leadership on key considerations/issues specific to Medicare and impact to the Medicaid program/members served as well as provide education to any AHCCCS staff who need to understand Medicare/Medicaid implications. This position will be the single point of contact regarding Medicare questions and will serve as the key contact for the MCOs as well as Medicare plans that do not hold current contracts with AHCCCS. |

What You'll Do:
This position will be responsible for the delivery of Special Assistance to individuals with a serious mental illness (SMI) determination with an identified need (as defined by A.A.C. R9-21-104) in the Phoenix Metropolitan area with activities that include: (1) education regarding an individual's rights, (2) advocate on behalf of clients, (3) assist clients in protecting their rights and obtaining needed services and (4) actively participate in the grievance and appeals process as necessary. This position also provides education, advocacy and support to the community as needed and as assigned.
