We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in administering, monitoring, and maintaining Azure SQL databases and data warehouses. This includes expertise in database provisioning, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. A strong proficiency in Azure database services, particularly Azure Synapse (Azure SQL Data Warehouse), is essential.

What You'll Do:
As the Database Administrator is responsible for database design, ensuring reliability, upholding security standards, deployment and optimizing performance of AHCCCS databases. You will work on both standard maintenance support issues and day-to-day operational activities including break/fix, capacity management, backup and recovery, database replication setup/management and ongoing database change reviews. Works closely with our Infrastructure, Development, Data Analytics and Quality Assurance teams, identifying issues while also suggesting and implementing corrective actions. |
