| This position serves as the primary financial liaison for assigned programs, providing comprehensive financial oversight and support under the direction of the Division Finance Manager. It works closely with program leadership and staff to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial activities. The role requires managing multiple budgets, monitoring expenditures and revenues, initiating fiscal transactions, preparing reports and projections, and ensuring funding availability and compliance with state and federal requirements.
The position acts as a subject matter expert and key point of contact with internal finance functions such as Procurement, Accounting, and Auditing, while also supporting grant and contract oversight, audits, and budget close-outs. It regularly presents complex financial information in a clear, actionable manner, anticipates short- and long-term financial impacts, and provides solutions to complex issues. The role is highly visible, supports strategic decision-making, and may provide coverage for the Division Finance Manager as needed. |
