Health Program Manager 2 PHOENIX
The position will serve as a Lead Inspector, to ensure that the annual goals and deliverables relating to the program can be achieved. This position would be responsible for all back-up Program Coordinating duties when the Program Coordinator is absent. These duties include assigning inspections to the entire FDA Tobacco Team, closing out all completed inspections, compiling and submitting reports, invoices and inquiry responses to the FDA, attending meetings on behalf of the Program and submitting vehicle mileage reports.

The Health Care Institution Programs are major statewide programs that have a significant public, agency, and financial impact. These programs involve complex and technical program guidelines and regulations. The Program Manager for the Health Care Institution licensing bureaus will be a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of the division's business and information technology systems. Directly related to the Department's mission, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Bureau of Marijuana Licensing Management System is in compliance with applicable health care institutions. This position functions as a highly skilled and technical Program Manager in the areas of development and management of electronic data systems, complex data reports, and education of HCI staff and customers. The position will develop program and statistical reports, provide training and presentations, and develop/implement action plans/work plans. This position is responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures, and desk manuals are established and updated as necessary, ensuring the Bureau operates in compliance with governing statutes and rules. The incumbent will interpret complex rules and regulations; provide consultation, education, and technical assistance to HCI staff and customers for program compliance and accountability; and participate in rule-making. This position is expected to maintain a full understanding of Administrative processes for all HCI Bureaus and ensure consistency of all processes.
Health Care Compliance Officer Supervisor - Child Care Facilities PHOENIX
Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Child Care Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Assists with or conducts initial and annual recertification/compliance inspections of child care facilities regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Oversee and/or review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Assists with or conducts advanced level investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rulemaking. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders. Schedule and/or ensure inspections are performed according to regulatory timeframes. Participates in and/or leads staff, advisory committee, and/or stakeholder organization meetings. Provides technical assistance to providers and consumers. Requests/analyzes/oversees/responds to feedback from clients on services. Develops standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, and other performance-related metrics. Oversees training program for new employees. Generates training materials and gives presentations to internal/external stakeholders as assigned. Supervises, directs, and provides advice and guidance to lower-level worker.
