| Under the direction of the HR Operations Manager this position will be responsible for providing subject matter expert for Classification and Compensation services to the agency. The position will handle all aspects of employee personnel and classification actions to ensure compliance with ADHS policies and federal and state regulations while providing instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers, and human resources professionals. Functions including processing justifications to fill, conducting salary analysis, draft and/or review position descriptions and classification and compensation actions. Partnering with the agency Business Partner to ensure accuracy and timelessness of submissions as well as complex issues of confidential nature. Will also serve as a back up for the agency generalist. Provide accurate and consistent interpretation of Federal and State Personnel laws, Department of Administration rules and ADHS policies and procedures. The position provides oversight of the Human Resources (HR) strategies, actions, activities and functions within multiple divisions. | This Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator (BHRC) is integral to both the CHP Utilization Management (UM) team and CHP Behavioral Health Unit (BHU). This position is primarily responsible for coordinating admission of CHP members to approved Behavioral Health Residential Treatment Programs: based on aligning the member's treatment needs to the program scope and eligibility criteria. This encompasses oversight of full process from initial referral to admission transportation. The BHRC will build relationships with important stakeholders of the Arizona Medicaid Children’s System of Care including residential treatment providers, health homes, behavioral health clinicians and others. The BHRC will also work closely with other internal DCS departments including the Placement Unit and Contracts & Procurement. |

| At the operations level, under general leadership of a lead firefighter and supervision of Assistant Chief perform prevention, control and extinguish all types of fires. Coordinate and perform related rescue, first aid, and property conservation. Includes fires or potential fires involving structures, wildland, aircraft, missiles and separate component weapons or other materials. Perform operations and operator maintenance of all types of firefighting and related rescue vehicles, equipment systems, and devices in support of overall base emergency contingency operations. A 56-hour shift type work week schedule will be followed. Overtime may be required depending on mission requirements. This position is NOT available for remote work (including virtual office arrangements). Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics. |
