The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is committed to providing supervision, rehabilitation, treatment, and education to committed youth adjudicated under state law as delinquent. ADJC operates and maintains a secure care facility for the custody of youth who pose a threat to public safety, who have engaged in a pattern of conduct characterized by persistent and delinquent offenses that, as demonstrated through the use of other alternatives, cannot be controlled in a less secure setting or who have had their conditional liberty revoked pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute (ARS) § 41‑2819. Each youth who is placed in our secure care facility shall receive rehabilitative services appropriate to the youth's age, needs and abilities, including education, counseling, mental health services, recreation and vocational training.

R9-21-104) in the Phoenix Metropolitan area with activities that include: (1) education regarding an individual's rights, (2) advocate on behalf of clients, (3) assist clients in protecting their rights and obtaining needed services and (4) actively participate in the grievance and appeals process as necessary. This position also provides education, advocacy and support to the community as needed and as assigned. This position requires in-state travel in the Phoenix Metropolitan area up to approximately 50% of the time. Candidate may be eligible for remote work based in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
