Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator PHOENIX

What You'll Do to Contribute to Agency Success: In collaboration with Agency Leadership and the Governor's Transformation Office, the purpose of this position will be to work with leaders throughout the agency to change processes to provide for better outcomes for AHCCCS members and stakeholders. Additionally, this position leads the project management team in the Division of Public Policy and Strategic Planning (DPPSP) which administers large scale projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Finally, this position will work with AHCCCS leadership and the Governor's Office to oversee the AHCCCS strategic plan and measure progress towards the agency goals. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator will work with leaders and staff throughout the agency to understand AHCCCS systems and processes and identify potential areas for improvement. This role will utilize their knowledge and experience to recommend tools and methods to leaders and staff to improve processes and track outcomes. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator will lead the DPPSP project management team which leads enterprise-wide projects. This role will require the administrator to know how to utilize project management tools to organize and lead large teams and balance competing priorities. This role will also lead the agency in establishing best practices for project management. The Project Management and Process Improvement Administrator is charged with assisting Executive Management in establishing and advancing a strategic vision for the agency. The role will be charged with updating the Agency Strategic Plan, administering internal workgroups, and tracking agency progress towards strategic goals. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the agency’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
Licensing Coordinator - Behavioral Health PHOENIX
Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Behavioral Health Facilities Licensing. Under general supervision, reviews and processes initial, renewal, closure, info update and change applications for facility and individual licenses to determine compliance with all applicable regulations within established time frames. Makes licensing decisions based on understanding of regulatory requirements and issues licenses and deficiency notices, when applicable. Follows agency policy to process incoming and outgoing mail, including payment processing. Corresponds with the regulated community and with other regulatory bodies. Responds to technical questions from licensees, applicants, and other members of the public in a variety of formats.
Health Care Compliance Officer - Long Term Care PHOENIX
Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Long Term Care Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual recertification inspections of health care institutions regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rulemaking, and conducts inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders.

Education and Quality Assurance Manager PHOENIX
The position of the Education and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the compliance and basic training for the Licensing Division Bureaus as they pertain to state regulations for applications, surveys, and complaints. The bureaus and their licensees are subject to complex and technical program guidelines and regulations that have a significant public and agency impact. The Education and Quality Assurance Manager is a subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of Senate Bill 1219 and the state statutes and rules that govern licensing. Directly related to the Department's mission, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and documenting training for all new staff members to ensure that training is completed in compliance with the requirements for surveys and complaints, per ADHS policy. This position is also responsible for ensuring the existing staff members receive training when changes occur to state policy, and documenting completion of training. This position may also serve as a resource for the regulated community. This position will develop program reports, provide training and presentations, and develop/implement action plans/work plans. This position is responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures, and desk manuals are established and updated as necessary, ensuring the bureaus operate in compliance with governing statutes, rules, and state regulations. The incumbent will interpret complex rules and regulations; provide consultation, education, and technical assistance to staff and customers for program compliance and accountability; and may participate in rule-making. This position is expected to maintain a full understanding of Arizona statutes and rules related to licensure, as well as State regulations and policies. This position will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
