Project Manager Senior - IT PHOENIX
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting multiple small to large-sized projects, including some complex projects and initiatives for the Division of Prevention. The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is a large program in the Division of Prevention and the majority of projects will be for the WIC program. The project manager will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, to specification, within budget, and of high quality. This includes working with stakeholders to create clear and attainable project objectives. Project management responsibilities also include creating and maintaining project artifacts such as project status reports, charters, schedules, risk logs, meeting agenda with notes, and project budgets. This position facilitates virtual and in-person meetings, assists with management of ongoing maintenance for existing systems as well as managing new projects, and contributes as a member of the Project Management Office. Key skills are strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies such as Waterfall, DSDM, SCRUM, XP, and Agile. Must be able to serve as an Agile scrum master to coach team members in Agile, host stand-up meetings, assist the product owner with the product backlog, remove roadblocks, and lead the team through healthy conflict and debate to meet project objectives, timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
BWCH OPERATIONS COORDINATOR PHOENIX
Under general supervision of the Bureau Chief, this position performs a broad range of operational and administrative functions that support multiple teams within the Bureau of Women’s and Children’s Health (BWCH). The Bureau Operations Coordinator ensures efficient execution of procurement, administrative, and operational processes across the bureau. Key responsibilities include maintaining standard work, policies, and procedures; coordinating vendor contracts; managing records; handling mail; assisting with CAS/DRS/PRS entry; developing tracking tools; and overseeing inventory and supplies. This role partners with managers and programs to process procurement and IT requests, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with agency policies. The position leads core operational activities, including records retention, inventory and asset management, facilities coordination, state vehicle maintenance, travel requisitions, vendor support, auditing requests, and web updates. It also serves as the bureau facilities coordinator, leads inventory management, and acts as a backup for the sensory screening loan equipment program. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining systems to track contract deliverables and expirations, managing requisitions in the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP), and reconciling contract financial data. The role also supports staff training on operational processes to promote consistency and efficiency. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
REFRIGERATION MECHANIC PHOENIX
Under the supervision of a Physical Plant Supervisor, the Refrigeration Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation equipment for facilities under the care of the Arizona Army National Guard in the Central region, which include the areas of Phoenix, Buckeye, and Florence. Position will occasionally utilize and supervise inmate labor to assist in maintenance and service functions. May also be required to transport inmates to and from different job sites.
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR 3 BELLEMONT
Operates heavy engineering equipment and material handling equipment to include, but not to be limited to: Road graders, bulldozers, front end loaders and 20-ton dump trucks. Perform road maintenance and snow removal at the direction of Physical Plant Supervisor I. Perform routine inspections and operator level maintenance. Turn-in equipment to maintenance shop chief for periodic maintenance and services, maintain documentation as required. On occasion, supervises a Department of Corrections work crew or individuals performing road maintenance, construction or maintenance of barbed wire fences, and clearing vegetation from igloos. Assists FMO North crew members with all general work orders assigned, as needed. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Tracking and maintaining work order data logs for material cost estimates and time applied towards facilities work orders for all buildings and departments. Maintaining knowledge of life cycle longevity on job specific equipment. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.
