ENVIRONMENTAL LAB COMPLIANCE OFFICER SR

| Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Office, and the Laboratory Licensure and Certification Office. Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical). Maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation and safety, and ensuring compliance. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. |

Working with a team of Deputy Wardens, the ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in managing inmate populations, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, inmate programming, and be responsible for ensuring the facility applies modern correctional practices.
The successful candidate has excellent communication and critical thinking skills, uses data in the decision-making process, and has the ability to manage a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities. |

Under the direction of the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations monitors and oversees complex operations and serves as the acting Warden in his / her absence. The incumbent will serve as administrator of a multi-custody prison complex, which includes restrictive status housing. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in budget management, managing inmate populations, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, inmate programming, and physical plant operations. In collaboration with the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations is responsible for ensuring the prison applies modern correctional practices. |
