The Grant Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, reporting, and financial support for grant-funded programs, ensuring efficient and effective program operations and adherence to all applicable regulations and policies. Reporting to the Strategic Grants Administrator, this role is responsible for managing grant files, documentation, and databases, coordinating meetings and logistics, and maintaining accurate financial records. The coordinator prepares and submits timely reports to grant funders, monitors grant budgets, processes financial transactions, and analyzes data to track grant outcomes and performance. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with financial and administrative requirements, ensuring the successful execution and reporting of grant-funded initiatives. This role is currently funded through November 30, 2027. |

This role manages communications by answering phone calls, monitoring program email inboxes, responding to routine inquiries in English and Spanish, and triaging complex inquiries to the appropriate staff. The specialist assists with purchasing, travel coordination, record-keeping, and document formatting while ensuring compliance with agency procedures. They support program operations by processing sign orders, maintaining databases, tracking deadlines, and facilitating meetings, including note-taking and follow-up on action items. Additionally, the specialist coordinates with stakeholders, responds to internal and external inquiries, and assists with special projects. This role is essential to maintaining program efficiency and supporting environmental and resiliency initiatives. |

What You'll Do:
Under the direction of the Financial Administrator, this position will perform work of significant difficulty. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the assigned federal block and or discretionary grant in accordance with each grant program's financial management and sub-recipient financial oversight requirements and will be required to provide administrative supervision of staff.
This position will serve as a liaison to contractors in receipt of the funding identified and will provide technical assistance and coordination with other internal divisions as needed, to meet the needs of these funding requirements, to include contractor expenditure report completion, budget availability, funding allocation, contract review and approval and education on rules. |
