Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division is seeking a full-time administrator for their Trades Technology Program areas. The Trades Technology Program Director is responsible for the Trades Technology (TT) programs including the Electrical program, Lineworker program, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) program, Architectural Technologies, Civil Technology, Building Construction, and Construction Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of Trades Technology programs with regard to instruction, facilitation of curriculum development, program review, ensuring compliance for all accredited program areas, scheduling faculty and courses, preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures. Also responsible for ensuring that equipment in the labs follow a safety and maintenance plan and obtain the necessary repairs, assist with identifying new equipment needs, and planning for acquisition of such. |

Depending upon program needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments will be primarily on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus with the possibility of other LCC campuses (Livingston, East, West), externship sites, and/or online assignments. This position will teach courses in pathophysiology and Medical-Surgical Nursing, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. The incumbent will participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. They also will contribute to program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. *An on-campus presence and traditional in-person teaching is required.* |
