Provide secretarial and clerical support to the Chair of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures (WLLC). Assist students and faculty. Collect information to assist the chair in developing the WLLC class schedules each semester. Process workloads form each semester for full-time faculty, adjuncts, and GTAs—process contracts for full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, GTAs, and student help. Maintain operating and travel budgets for the department. Provide clerical support for the Chair and faculty members of the department. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned. |

• Provide technical support for Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarships (TELS) and other scholarship programs
• As needed, work with the Financial Aid Coordinator who manages the TELS Program by assisting with the awarding of Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarships (TELS) to qualified students
• Process miscellaneous state scholarships & award to qualified students
• Resolve overawards, provide expert guidance to the MT One Stop, and assist with coverage of the MT OneStop as needed. |
Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer has primary responsibility to assist with the overall medical and health related care of student athletes participating in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams within the University. Essential duties include but are not be limited to: assist in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of all injuries associated with assigned student athletes; communication with coaches, student athletes, parents, staff and physicians within NATA and HIPAA guidelines; maintain and observe all athletic policy and procedures in accordance with NATA regulations and remain certified to perform these duties on a daily basis. Provide supervision of daily practice and game coverage, in season travel, and summer sports workout coverage for assigned sports as permitted by NCAA legislation and required to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes. Required to adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of the NATA, NCAA, Conference USA, and MTSU Athletic Department. Assist Associate Trainers in the supervision of certified graduate assistant / Intern athletic trainers in our sports medicine athletic training students in the Sports Medicine educational program; instruct these students in professional prevention, care and rehabilitation of assigned athletes. Expected to attend national NATA and Conference USA meetings and/or conventions to remain current of their field for changes that occur. Required to comply with NCAA legislation and immediately report any known violations of NCAA rules to the Compliance Office and submit all required documentation to the Compliance office in a timely fashion; and perform other related tasks or projects as assigned. |

Reporting to the Director of Database Administration Services, the Middleware Developer performs a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions across the university's enterprise systems. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining middleware technologies such as Apache Tomcat; development and maintenance of seamless data flow and integrations between multiple platforms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data usage across the university; close partnership with ITD teams, data analysts, and departmental stakeholders to understand their data needs to deliver secure, robust integration solutions; cross-team collaboration with the planning and testing of systems requirements; development of processes for transaction logging for the information security team as needed. This position requires experience with multiple OS's, web servers, databases, scripting languages, SOAP or RESTful APIs, and cloud-based middleware management solutions. |
