Job Summary/Basic Function
Manage and supervise the user of all School of Music facilities including responsibility for production of 150+ concerts per year; staffing of stage and auditorium management, recording and lighting for each event; rehearsals and production of program and related publications; work with faculty coaches, ensemble conductors, and ensembles for recording audio and/or video productions, editing, transcoding, and distributing depending on the needs of the ensembles. Work to create content for School of Music Live Stream; Troubleshoot and fix issues with Networking, YouTube streaming, Adobe Premier, Avid Pro Tools, Macintosh and Windows Operating systems; coordinate maintenance reporting for music facilities; manage inventory and repair; and movement and storage of instruments and equipment. Oversee operation of music computer laboratory and class piano laboratory; Oversee work study students and concert techs; Perform other related duties and/or responsibilities as assigned or required.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Music, other performing arts discipline, or related field.
Required Related Experience
Two (2) years of related experience in concert productions, recording technology, and/or events management.
