The Tennessee STEM Education Center (TSEC) at Middle Tennessee State University is seeking an energetic, visionary educator to assist in developing and realizing the Center's mission and vision as the Associate Director and Research-Track faculty at the rank of Associate/Assistant. This is a 12-month position with a possible start date as early as October 1, 2021. This is a full-time, non-tenurable position. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels to promote excellence in STEM education. Duties include assisting the Director in the formulation of the Center's long-range and strategic plans; contributing to grant writing, program and project management; scholarly dissemination through refereed conferences and publications; initiating, managing, and providing program oversight for K-16 STEM outreach programs; and serving as a liaison for participating departments within the college and other university outreach support offices as related to STEM programs. The successful candidate will join a growing team of faculty, professional staff, and student researchers in identifying and addressing current issues in STEM education through outreach, service, teaching, and research.
Mobile Application Developer 2 Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Reporting to the Associate Vice President Enterprise Application Services, the Mobile Application Developer 2 will support the entire mobile application life cycle through concept, design, test, release, and support; produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code; Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions; write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions; troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance. Assistant Director - Sports Information Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Assist the Associate Athletic Director Athletic Communications with all forms of athletic communications for the Athletic department to include but not be limited to: all printed publications, NCAA official game statistics, web site coverage for assigned sports, video and audio streaming, game credentials and set up for television and radio communications. Responsible for all written and electronic communications for their assigned sports to include three major sports: women's soccer, men's basketball, men's tennis and an additional Olympic sport to be assigned.
