The Director of MTSU Online will report directly to the Chief Online Learning Officer and is responsible for providing leadership and managerial oversight for all aspects of online learning. This includes student services, faculty services, instructional design, and management of the MTSU Online and Distance testing center. The Director is responsible for leading initiatives to position MTSU as a distance education leader by focusing on quality of instruction, support of both faculty and students, and the recruitment and development of new online courses and programs. The Director will collaborate with, and under the direction of, the Chief Online Learning Officer to oversee the strategic plan for the growth of MTSU Online, and serve as the primary point of contact. The Director will collaborate with academic leaders and faculty to direct and oversee the development, integration and quality control initiatives for online learning across all programs.
Assistant Coach 1 - Strength & Conditioning Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Assistant Athletic Director Strength and Conditioning with general oversight of the Strength and Conditioning Program for the university's 17 NCAA Division I sports. Essential tasks include: assist with day to day operation of the facility; oversee of assigned sports programs which will include but may not be limited to Men's Basketball, Track and Softball; develop sport specific workouts; and work directly with student athletes and the coaching staffs to develop, illustrate, oversee, and document the progress of the student athletes' physical fitness and conditioning. Data Scientist (Level I) Murfreesboro, Tennessee

We are seeking someone that has the educational knowledge and desire to learn data science and to grow within the position to lead projects and use data to solve problems.  This full-time staff position will work to support, lead, and facilitate projects and research in the Data Science Institute at Middle Tennessee State University. The Data Science Institute offers students, faculty, and the community opportunities to work on projects to integrate, explore, and visualize data to offer insights that can aid in decision making. It also uses data science techniques for predictive modeling and continually looks for big data concepts that can be incorporated into projects or research. Projects may include externally funded grants, contracted services with private or public agencies, and projects that serve the community. It also fosters the development of students and faculty and develops and promotes events that provide experiences to cultivate their data science skills.  The Data Scientist (Level I) is to work directly with the Directors of the Data Science Institute and is a junior-level role within data science.   This position is funded through a state grant for five years. Continuation beyond five years is contingent upon securing additional funding.

Custodial Supervisor Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Coordinator - Tn Miller Coliseum Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Serve as a member of the Tennessee Miller Coliseum (TMC) workforce responsible for maintaining the condition of the facilities and premises that include the set up and break down for events held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum. Essential duties include: operate heavy equipment that include: a skid steer loader, tractor, mowing equipment, etc.; performing manual labor to pick up trash, empty trash cans, clean stall, assemble/dismantle corral panels and staging, and performing general lawn and landscape maintenance tasks.
