Using various instructional techniques, approved maintenance practices, and the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS), teach students how to inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft and helicopter systems. Responsible for adhering to guidance and legal requirements from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE), and other accreditation authorities, to maintain certification as an FAA 14 CFR Part 147 maintenance school. Prepares relevant and engaging lesson plans, presentations, and assessments ensuring students of various learning styles successfully complete the FAA A & P certification. |
