HVAC Instructor SLCC – New Iberia
The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Instructor is responsible for providing instruction and performing lab related activities for the HVAC program. Instructors will follow state approved course syllabi for each area of instruction. Instructors are also responsible for maintaining accurate academic records in a computerized learning management system. These records include attendance, grades and class/course syllabi for each class taught.

CTE Mobile Lab Driver-Operator SLCC – Lafayette
The Career and Technical (CTE) Mobile Lab Driver-Operator is responsible for safely driving and operating a multi-purpose vehicle on a part-time, as-needed basis. The vehicle consists of a fully automatic, diesel-powered Freightliner cab with a non-pivoting 33-ft straight body built on a motorhome conversion chassis and weighing approximately 54,000 GVWR-lbs. The driver-operator will be responsible for all functions related to the overall operations of the vehicle.
Workforce Training Coordinator - EMS SLCC – Lafayette
This position provides National EMS Academy students, and prospective students, access and connectivity to all student services at South Louisiana Community College. The incumbent must be effective at conveying information to all information session attendees, interested community members, applicants, students, and the College Community. This position is a collaboration between SLCC and the National EMS Academy. The position is required to participate in SLCC college-wide and NEMSA specific recruitment activities as an official representative of South Louisiana Community College, assisting with service to students and prospective students. It requires travel to all NEMSA sites and occasional overnight stay.

This position is responsible for the clinical operation of Counseling Services at the main campus and instructional sites including knowledge of student counseling techniques and an ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds. The counselor also provides support with Disability Services.
Program Manager - TRiO Educational Opportunity Center SLCC – New Iberia
The EOC Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs and services to help improve the educational outcomes of program participants. This position will ensure adequate delivery and compliance with program guidelines and regulations, supervise the program staff, and support program participants. Job duties include planning and implementing a grant-funded program initiative of the College. The EOC Program Manager will oversee and administer all facets of the day-to-day operations of the services and activities, which will involve leading, communicating, delegating, as well as participating. This position works under the supervision of the Executive Director for Academic Initiatives. This position is funded 100% by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of this Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program is to set a strong foundation for each participant’s educational/career progression and have a profound impact on the local workforce and economic development in the target area.
