Program Manager – Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing	BRCC	Baton Rouge, LA
Technical Diploma – Practical Nursing, Program Director will oversee the continued, successful accreditation of the program through leadership and management. The primarily responsible for coordination and administration of the associate of science nursing degree program. The candidate will be responsible for strategically planning and maintaining high-performance, results-oriented, quality education programs that will enhance the student educational experience. The PD will provide engaged instruction; develop curricula; oversee program, course, and student outcomes assessment; and conduct faculty evaluations. Instructor - Simulation/Skills Lab Coordinator	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
The Simulation/Skills Lab Coordinator Nursing Faculty is responsible for teaching professional nursing courses at the postsecondary level (but at less than the baccalaureate). Accountable for planning, developing, maintaining, and effectively implementing the day-to-day operations of the nursing and allied health simulation and skills laboratories to provide students with quality instruction and a safe learning environment. Facilitate student advancement from performance of basic nursing skills to resolution of simple to complex patient care situation via low, moderate, and high-fidelity simulation. Direct, manage, and evaluate student learning in the simulation and skills laboratory. Responsible for preparing and delivering skills lab and high-fidelity simulations, leading and moderating lab/debriefing discussions, facilitating activities and communication, and administering and grading lab and simulation assignments. Demonstrate and teach patient care techniques in the skills labs, simulation laboratories, and clinical sites (on occasion) to nursing students. Position is an expert in nursing practices with knowledge of professional scope and standards of practice. Able to rely on evidence-based practice guidelines to plan and accomplish teaching goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Works with all Nursing and Allied Health programs. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Adjunct Faculty: Welding Instructor	South Louisiana Community College	Abbeville, LA, Crowley, LA, Lafayette, LA, New Iberia, LA, St. Martinville, LA, Ville Platte, LA
The Welding instructor will oversee the operation and maintenance of all shop equipment and keep an accurate inventory of tools, equipment and supplies for the proper instruction of students within his class. Instructors will follow state approved course syllabi for each area of instruction. Areas of instruction include safety, various processes and techniques of welding including oxyfuel cutting, carbon arc cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, fluxcored arc welding, gas metal arc welding, plasma arc cutting, blueprint reading, weld symbols, and joints. Instructors are also responsible for maintaining accurate academic records in a computerized learning management system. These records include attendance, grade, and class/course syllabi for each class taught.
