The RN Nursing Faculty is responsible for teaching professional nursing courses at the postsecondary level (but at less than the baccalaureate) to students who have graduated high school or earned a GED. Demonstrates and teaches patient care techniques in the simulation laboratory and clinical sites to nursing students. May be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, leading and moderating classroom discussions, facilitating online activities and communication. This position works with SOWELA students to help improve their technical skills and critical learning skills. This position also assists students in improving academic achievement, supports students by reviewing and clarifying learning problems, and provides useful study skills to students that need supplemental help. Other assistance might include reviewing class material, discussing text, reviewing test questions, generating ideas for papers, or working on solutions to problems.
ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) Operations & Technology Adjunct Instructor	Fletcher Technical Community College	Thibodaux, LA
This is a part-time faculty position. Responsibilities include teaching, course development, curriculum development, placement and follow-up, tutoring, advising, mentoring, campus activities, committee assignments, and professional development. Operate and maintain ROVs during field missions. Duties include pre-deployment inspections, mission programming, real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and post-mission data retrieval and analysis.

The advisors are responsible for leading the redevelopment of academic and career advising to better meet underprepared, minority and low to middle-income student needs and pilot intrusive developmental advising strategies. Qualifications for the advisor positions include a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree or higher preferred, with five years of successful experience in college student advisement. This position reports to the PBI Director for statistical program analysis and adherence to the goals and objectives of the Title III PBI Grant as outlined by the U. S. Department of Education. Works in collaboration PBI initiatives in research and with Digital Learning and Academic Support staff and College faculty and staff.
