Instructors will follow American Culinary Federation and state-approved course syllabi for each area of instruction. Areas of instruction include sanitation and safety, culinary skills, nutrition, culinary calculations, dining room service, culinary production, food & beverage operations, baking and pastry, and a la Carte. Instructors are also responsible for maintaining accurate academic records in a computerized learning management system. The Digital Designer (II) will be responsible for assisting the development of interactive training modules including eLearning, Simulations, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and other mixed reality platforms. Working with team members, the candidate will develop storyboards, prototypes, and establish guidelines for projects by authoring effective copy, audio, and video scripts that breakdown complex processes into engaging, interactive exercises and practice experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of learning theories, previous working experience in training development, and a design focused on heavy gamification methodology as well as a curious and investigative nature to apply new principles to training and exceed client expectations. Reports to AI and Digital Production Director.

Provides supervision and instruction to students seeking a career as an EMT or paramedic, participates in program planning, and is responsible for design and implementation of the EMT training program for SOWELA, other LCTCS schools, and colleagues.
Responsible for teaching students through field learning, skills, laboratory, and in a class or hybrid class. Maintains accurate grade and attendance records. Maintains individual student progress data and ensures this is a part of the student’s permanent record. Adheres to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records. Be available to students via email, phone and/or in person conference.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks related to instruction, lab projects, and training. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
