| Delgado Community College is seeking an innovative, student-centered advocate to serve as the Vice Chancellor for Student
Affairs. This position reports directly to the Chancellor and serves as the chief student affairs officer for the College. As the Chief Student Affairs Officer for the College, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs provides leadership, vision, and direction for a comprehensive array of student affairs initiatives and departments. This leader directs the work of Student Affairs and must work collaboratively with the Office of Academic Affairs to promote an innovative and effective interdepartmental relationship between the two units.
This key leadership position will be responsible for working with all directors and administrative personnel that fall within the Student
Affairs area to expand and implement programs that will improve student recruitment, success, well-being, and engagement, with
a focus on leveraging technology, data, enrollment, retention, graduation rates and innovative practices to create a supportive
environment for all students.
Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the position serves as a member of the Executive Team, working collaboratively toward the
achievement of institutional goals and objectives. |

| This position is responsible to teach college-level Biology lecture and/or lab courses, as well as preparing and delivering lectures, moderating classroom discussions, and administering and grading examinations. This position also maintains accurate grade and attendance records, adhering to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records. The position must be available to students via email, phone and/or in person conference. The position will receive training and is responsible to stay current in technological or pedagogical advances that promote student learning. |

| The Director of Information Technology ensures the streamlined operation of the Information Technology Division and aligns the Division with the business objectives of the organization. The individual plans, coordinates, directs, designs, and provides direct support for IT-related activities, and instructional technology. In addition, the Director of Information Technology provides administrative direction and support for the daily operational activities of the Division.
The Director of Information Technology works closely with all divisions of the College and at all College sites in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions associated with the campus IT infrastructure and delivery services, IT support for curricula, and students and staff for all campus-controlled aspects of the organization. The Director of Information Technology also defines and implements local IT policies in collaboration with the Louisiana Community & Technical College System (LCTCS) and SOWELA Technical Community College (STCC) policies and directives, and best practices related to campus Information Technology activities. |
