Statewide Associate Probation Officer - Office of the Commissioner of Probation Boston
This posting is for positions Statewide and will be used for up to one year to select Associate Probation Officers for vacancies at courts throughout the State. During the application process, you will be asked to select the region(s) in which you are interested being considered for. The Trial Court may consider applicants for any region depending on our operational needs, however, be sure to read/review carefully, and select the region(s) for which you prefer. Please note that selected candidates will be assigned to a primary court location but will be expected to travel to courts within the selected region as needed based on operational needs. Applicants interested in working in the Administrative Supervision Unit (ASU) located in Clinton, must select the ASU in addition to other region(s). The ASU is currently responsible for supervising Operating Under the Influence cases (first and second offense). As the ASU grows, other case types may be added. The ASU is not located in a courthouse, therefore there are no courtroom/counter duties associated with this position. You must upload a current resume to your profile during the application process in order to be considered for this position. This position is part of the NAGE bargaining unit.
