The Community Connections Pastor will lead out of a personal conviction that:
(1) Community engagement is a vital part of a vibrant and active faith and is integral to the spiritual formation of college students.
(2) Indiana Wesleyan University’s engagement in the community is rooted in its Christian commitment to contribute to the well-being of Grant County.

In addition, the VP/CIO guides the progressive maturity of technology and data to enable students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members to be freed from tasks that technology does well and empowered to achieve beyond what would otherwise be possible. This leader guides IWU’s process of applying technology and data analysis to enhance student learning, provide efficiencies for IWU operations, and increase data-informed decision-making. This forward-thinking, strategic leader oversees University Information Technology (UIT) while engaging with leaders, faculty, staff, and students in an integrated enterprise approach to workflow, process, data management, technology, and culture. The VP/CIO establishes innovative, agile, and flexible technology tools and services to support learning and discovery; coordinates enterprise-wide change management efforts; oversees the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), and serves as an advisor and strategic partner in implementing IWU’s strategic plans related to technology and data. Through partnerships and alignment with the President’s Cabinet, the VP/CIO leverages technology and data to build business value and engage intentionally through strategic initiatives that differentiate IWU as a leader in Christian higher education. Critical to this role is the identification and leadership of innovative and emerging technology solutions implemented across the institution. This VP/CIO must have the ability to work collegially in the development of those initiatives. Must be an effective communicator to a broad range of constituencies is an essential requirement of this position. This VP/CIO must be able to identify and develop leaders within the IT organization.

The Education Development Executive engages in partnership attraction, development, and retention activities that align educational partner needs with university offerings. The activities should lead to new and developing enrollment pipelines for teacher training and education programs with a clear operational focus on execution, senior-level account management, and ongoing relationship management with the school districts. The Business Analyst assists the Project Management Office in the charting, scoping, tracking, and execution of projects and requests. The Business Analyst provides consistent, high quality data analysis, troubleshooting, research and issue resolution, and leads both external and internal client projects. This position seeks to address client needs by engaging the appropriate IT resources to provide and implement solutions that align to their goals and objectives needs.
The overall goal of this position is to provide collaborative support to the Project Management Office by ensuring customer projects are appropriately scoped in terms of resources, timing, and completion requirements. The ability to track and understand resources required to achieve
customer objectives is paramount. This position will partner closely with the Director of Project Management, and together, will ensure effective project management and communication is occurring at all times. An important aspect of this role is the ability to work with internal and
external resources to better understand what it will take to successfully score, onboard, and ultimately deliver projects to the institution. The Business Analyst will work on Small/Medium scale projects and will be required to partner with all IT divisions to effectively serve the needs of

Systems include the development and integration of Ellucian’s Colleague, web forms, development, document imaging and the SharePoint portal. In addition, the director is primarily responsible for project and job management, scheduling, and reporting of developers. The director is a member of the IT Leadership Team and the IT Executive Team and participates in establishing its goals, strategies, and performance indicators for success. In addition, the director oversees the project prioritization process and IT resource capacity planning for projects included in the IT Unified Project Portfolio. The director has a close relationship with the Project Management Office (PMO) team. The director assists PMO project managers and business analysts to gain insight into resource availability and allocation and assigns resources to prioritized projects.
