Stanford seeks an expert in international security and nuclear security to hold the Stanton Foundation Professorship in Nuclear Security. A joint appointment would be made at tenured rank of Associate Professor or Professor in a Stanford department or school and as a Senior Fellow on a continuing term with an endowed chair at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC), Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI). The Stanford Department Management Science & Engineering invites applications for a teaching faculty position in entrepreneurship. The appointment will be made as a Professor (Teaching), with rank (Associate or Full Professor) depending upon the candidate's seniority and experience. Normally, the initial appointment term is up to 6 years, and is then eligible for promotion to a continuing term appointment, which provides security of appointment without requiring further formal reappointment.
The primary departmental home of the appointee will be in Management Science & Engineering in the School of Engineering, and the candidate will be an active faculty member and bring leadership to the Department, School and the University. The responsibilities for Professor (Teaching) include: teaching classes, leadership role in designing, coordinating and strengthening the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, and involvement in the broader entrepreneurship educational community at Stanford and beyond. |
