| There has been significant growth in thoracic aortic surgery and transcatheter aortic and valvular therapies at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. There is a programmatic need to recruit a cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in these areas to join the Stanford faculty in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford University as an Assistant Professor in
the University Medical Line at the Palo Alto VA. There will be robust opportunity to participate
in thoracic aortic surgery, valvular surgery, and other subspecialty areas in adult cardiovascular
surgery at the Palo Alto VA. There will be occasional clinical coverage responsibilities at the
Stanford main campus and at other Stanford-affiliated sites. |
