What You'll Bring

• Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services, or a related field
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
• Relevant probity clearances or willingness to obtain them
• Strong communication skills, empathy, resilience, and a solutions-focused approach
• Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays
• The ability to commit to a minimum of four passive (sleepover) shifts per fortnight

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting young people with daily routines, personal care, and community activities
• Building positive relationships based on trust, consistency, and respect
• Creating safe, structured, and therapeutic environments
• Responding calmly and effectively to challenging situations and behaviours
• Working collaboratively to implement individualised care plans
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, cultural connections, and community engagement
• Administering medication in line with policies and individual support plans
• Completing accurate case notes, incident reports, and handovers
