What you will be doing in this role
As the ENT Registrar you will have flexibility and significant access to experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons and tutors, including private surgical assisting for our ENT team. This role is ideally suited for a senior unaccredited registrar with on call experience.
You will work within a supportive department of consultants to nurture career development and will be give exceptional research opportunities to enable publications, presentations and higher degrees. The SAN is one of very few private hospitals with an emergency department and therefore you will be exposed to a great range of ENT cases from simple ENT to skull base surgery.
Who we’re looking for:
Registrar applicants must be at least 4 years post-graduation with the following skills and experience:
- Current AHPRA registration and full Australian working rights
- Previous ENT JMO experience (essential), with previous ENT on-call experience highly desirable
- MBBS or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of four years post-graduate experience
- Flexibility to work across services and geographical locations to support patient care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use initiative
- Adaptability, a willingness to learn and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
