What you will be doing in this role

The Health Fund Biller – Revenue Clerk plays a key role in supporting exceptional patient care through the accurate and timely processing of account information, billing activities and debt collection. You’ll be involved in a range of clerical duties which may include accounts processing, data entry, billing, credit control, and managing health fund payments and claims.

As part of our Health Funds team, this entry-level role reports to our supportive Senior Manager Revenue and Patient Services. The role has become available due to internal progression within the team - offering a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive and well‑established department.

This is a full‑time, on‑site position with a stable Monday to Friday schedule, working 8:00am to 4:00pm.

 

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment. If you enjoy working with numbers, managing competing priorities, and delivering accurate outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Ideally, you’ll have 1-2 years of previous employment experience using spreadsheets, accounts receivable, receiptancy and remittances, along with strong numerical skills and a commitment to delivering accurate financial administration.
  • You’ll be tech-savvy and independent, with the ability to work independently while confidently navigating a range of systems and digital tools.
  • You’ll have prioritisation and time management with the ability to organise competing tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in basic accounting with an understanding of financial processes and a high level of accuracy when handling data.
  • Experience managing high workloads maintaining attention to detail and delivering quality outcomes under pressure.
  • You’ll have full Australian working rights.
