What you will be doing in this role 

The Patient Experience Coordinator is responsible for leading and shaping the organisation's patient experience transformation agenda, providing strategic direction and driving initiatives that embed patient-centred care across Adventist HealthCare.

The role will lead the analysis and interpretation of patient feedback, complaints and experience data, translating insights into strategic priorities, measurable improvement opportunities and organisation-wide initiatives. You will develop and oversee reporting, performance measures and governance processes, and lead complex projects that deliver sustainable improvements in patient outcomes, service quality and patient experience.

You’ll also provide expert change management support, engaging and influencing executives, clinicians, consumers and other stakeholders, to build alignment, drive accountability and achieve meaningful outcomes. As a people leader, the position promotes a positive, patient-centred culture aligned with the organisation's mission and values while supporting teams to deliver measurable improvements in patient experience and organisational performance.

This is a permanent part-time, 4-day per week position.  

 

Who we’re looking for

This role is ideal for an experienced patient experience, consumer engagement, quality improvement or healthcare transformation professional who can operate strategically while translating patient and consumer insights into meaningful organisational change. You will be a confident leader and influencer, comfortable working with executives, clinicians and frontline teams to build momentum and deliver measurable outcomes.

Experience in healthcare is highly valued, particularly in patient experience, consumer engagement, quality improvement or organisational change.

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading patient experience, consumer engagement, quality improvement or transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into clear recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience leading change and delivering sustainable organisational improvement
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven ability to lead projects, build capability and foster collaborative relationships
  • Resilience, sound judgement, flexibility and adaptability
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
