The Opportunity
Climateworks Centre Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Analyst to lead research and analysis within the energy and industry sectors. This role involves generating insights through both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, supporting informed decision-making to advance Indonesia's climate goals.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and leading energy and industry research, using robust data analysis and energy system modeling. You will develop work plans, monitor project progress, and ensure timely delivery of research projects. Your role will also involve providing specialist advice to senior management, creating compelling visuals to communicate data insights, and presenting findings in various forums. Additionally, you’ll proactively identify knowledge-sharing opportunities through seminars and publications, while building and sustaining partnerships with stakeholders, particularly in research institutes and academia, to enhance the impact of your work.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, energy, or industry, along with extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. You should possess advanced skills in energy modeling and statistical tools such as Stata, SPSS, R, or Python. A strong understanding of Indonesian energy policies, regulations, and industry landscapes is essential. You should be able to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, while contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.
