You’re an experienced Community Care (Home Care) professional with strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in the same or similar senior position. You have a passion for providing a high standard of care and services to our clients, and you are well versed in all thing’s community care.
You understand the importance of building strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally and your interpersonal skills are second to none. As the GM Community Care, you take your team on the journey with you, and you value a collaborative and cohesive team approach.
A priority of this role is our Support at Home project, and your experience leading projects and rolling out new initiatives is vital to your success in the role. This includes but is not limited to progressing the project through key milestones, stakeholder engagement and knowledge of the change management principles.

We are hoping you will join our fantastic Whiddon family in NSW, preferably in Sydney, the Hunter or the Northwest regions (although we are happy to negotiate), on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).
To be successful in the General Manager Community Care position, you have a desire to make a real difference to the lives of others, and you are committed to providing a high standard of customer service. In addition, we are looking for a candidate who also has:
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse Registration.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership position in community or home care.
- Strong understanding of community care regulations, legislation and best practices.
- Demonstrated strong experience leading a remote team.
- An understanding of the principles of person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Strong business acumen including financial management, analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
