An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, go-getter to join our Whiddon team as our amazing Chef or Kitchen Team Leader. This role is suited for an experienced Chef who is obsessed with service and is an ideal position for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. Responsibility spans across the home you are assigned to, with a huge focus on staff engagement, resident satisfaction and just generally being awesome. Working with the most innovative, forward thinking and no fuss hospitality team in Aged Care. Reporting to the Group Food Services Manager and being available to work in multiple locations across NSW and QLD.

YOUR DUTIES

• Being Awesome and Creating WOW factor
• Supporting the home you are allocated to for your relief stint
• Working with a dedicated team and mentoring all catering team members
• Creating energy and driving quality and excellence
• Implementing innovative thinking and products
• Working with a team of experienced, energetic (A little crazy) – Hospitality Management Team from support services
• Support like crazy and be the “go to” person in your region for all thing’s food
• Training and demonstrations with your team and residents
• Food safety and compliance
• Show them how to make it different and keep the buzz going
• Spend time with your team and create an environment of open communication

We are hoping you will join our fantastic Whiddon family at Wee Waa, on a Permanent Full-time basis. 

To be considered for this role you will be required to hold a relevant qualification (i.e. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher)
