1. Direct support of the vision, goals and strategies of head coach.
2. Serves as a teacher in practice and competition with respect to individual and team skill development for the cross country/track program in event areas as directed by head coach.
3. Is certified to recruit high caliber student-athletes to attend and compete for the University.
4. Supervises practice, skill sessions, study hall and team travel under supervision of head coach.
5. Serves as a mentor and positive influence on the student-athletes in the track program.
6. Coordinates administrative responsibilities as delegated by head track coach.
7. Travels representing the university at various functions as directed by head coach.
8. Any other program relevant duties as assigned by the head coach. |
STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR II

Student Center Operations (60%)
• Oversee the daily operation of the Student Center, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users.
• Supervise student employees and/or graduate assistants responsible for information desks, event setups, and general facility oversight.
• Coordinate event support for internal and external groups utilizing the Student Center, including setup logistics, equipment needs, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a liaison to facilities, custodial, and campus safety staff regarding maintenance, security, and scheduling.
• Manage scheduling and reservation systems, ensuring accurate and timely communication with campus partners.
• Contribute to long-term planning for the Student Center including assessments, facility improvements, and policy development.
• Ensure compliance with fire codes, ADA regulations, and institutional policies related to event and facility usage.
Campus Activities Board Co-Advisor (30%)
• Co-advise the Campus Activities Board in the planning, marketing, and execution of student-led progra• Support student leaders in the development of leadership, teamwork, event planning, and fiscal management skills.
• Attend weekly CAB meetings, committee meetings, and major programs (some evening and weekend work required).
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of CAB programs to ensure alignment with institutional goals and student interests.
• Foster inclusive programming that engages a diverse student body and promotes campus unity.
Other Duties (10%)
• Serve on departmental and campus-wide committees related to student engagement, facilities, or student affairs.
• Assist with major campus events, including orientation, homecoming, and commencement, as needed.
• Stay current on best practices in student center operations and student programming.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Center & Campus Engagement. |
Head Softball Coach

Specific Responsibilities:
• Instruct and develop student-athletes during practices and games.
• Conduct team strategy sessions and skill development.
• Prepare for and compete in NCAA Division I matches and tournaments.
• Identify and recruit student-athletes who align with academic and athletic goals.
• Utilize recruiting platforms and manage a database of prospects.
• Monitor student-athlete academic performance and eligibility.
• Coordinate team budget, travel logistics, and team scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies.
• Supervise assistant and volunteer coaches.
• Attend department meetings, submit reports, and support overall athletics goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communication and Marketing

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Communication:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for the Athletics Department.
• Create and disseminate press releases, news articles, and announcements related to athletic events, achievements, and initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets to secure positive coverage of the department.
• Serve as the department's spokesperson when necessary.
2. Marketing and Branding:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute marketing campaigns to drive attendance and support for athletic events.
• Develop and maintain a strong visual identity for the Athletics Department, ensuring consistent branding across all materials and platforms.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials, including posters, flyers, digital graphics, and video content.
3. Digital and Social Media:
• Manage the department’s social media accounts, keeping them active, engaging, and up-to-date with relevant content.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to adjust strategies and maximize online engagement.
• Create and maintain the department's official website, ensuring it provides current information and a user-friendly experience.
• Manage the athletic department brand and ensure all social media, websites, and the app are using appropriate content, music, logos, and mascot information.
4. Event Management:
• Coordinate and promote athletic events, including game days, tournaments, and special promotions.
• Work closely with the ticket office to maximize ticket sales and attendance at games.
• Assure proper game day personnel are present for each sport and statistics/scores are submitted to the NCAA.
5. Supervision and Team Management:
• Lead and supervise a team of communication and marketing professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence. |
