Associate, Library Services Florissant Valley Campus
*** The start date for this role will be no sooner than January 21, 2025 *** The Associate, Library performs duties necessary to provide an excellent experience for library users, including interacting with students, staff, faculty, and public community users. The incumbent is responsible for staffing a busy circulation desk assisting patrons with finding, accessing, requesting, and checking out materials. This role also processes requests for books and other materials. Finally, this role has an outreach component, staffing campus events and creating displays of library materials. The typical hours for this role will be Mondays 7:30am - 3:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 8:00 - 4pm or 8:30 - 4pm. Schedules are occasionally adjusted during the semester to meet staffing needs, with occasional evening hours.
Specialist, Payroll Corporate College
Review documents and process accounts related to Payroll to facilitate all Payroll functions; maintains Banner Payroll accounts and creates related reports; works with employees to ensure timely Payroll payment.
Assistant Cook Florissant Valley Campus
This position provides assistance to the full-time cook in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food to the children and in filling food carts and washing/sanitizing the dishes. This person also steps in in the absence of the full-time cook.
Coordinator, Student Retention Programs Forest Park Campus
The Coordinator, Student Retention Programs will be part of a dynamic and visionary team of leaders in the division of Student Affairs. The Coordinator will provide inclusive, growth mindset leadership, innovative vision, and a commitment to key programs in the division, as well as retention and completion goals/initiatives with all constituents throughout the College. The ideal candidate is someone with positive and productive experience working with colleagues to design, implement, and assess successful retention programs. In addition to being knowledgeable about the goals and metrics outlined for retention, progression, and equity as detailed in the College's Strategic Plan, 2021-2023 the ideal candidate will be ready to scale up successful programs already in place. With research and data, the ideal candidate will be able to propose programming that will increase our students' completion, understanding that a large percentage of our students are part-time. This position will promote, coordinate, and manage the Black Male Achievers Academy.
Educational Assistant II Wildwood Campus
This position will prepare, set up and maintain the Wildwood Campus science labs. Tasks include monitoring the lab equipment, preparing media and solutions, cell culture, organizing anatomy labs, along with other duties related to the lab. This person should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Adjunct Faculty - English as a Second Language - ESL Florissant Valley Campus
The English Department/ESL Program at STLCC is seeking a part time, temporary ESL Adjunct Instructor to begin in January- Spring 2025 semester teaching assignment will be at the Florissant Valley campus, but with the possibility of additional classes at Meramec or the Forest Park Campus. Preference will be given to those with community college experience in teaching English as a second or third language. The desired candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Linguistics or other related field. The new ESL temporary faculty will have experience teaching academic writing, low intermediate to advanced grammar and English listening and pronunciation skills. The successful candidate will be confident using technology and practice varied teaching techniques. The new temporary adjunct faculty will reach students where they are and guide them to the next level of English in the four skill areas.

The Student Enrollment Specialist is the point of contact to current and prospective students on a wide range of services on all programs and courses offered by the College. Provides information and appropriate services for current and prospective students throughout the enrollment and registration process, including admissions, placement testing, applying for financial aid, advising, and registration. Operating under best practices from national organizations such as NACAC and NAFSAA the Enrollment Service Counselor main function is to provide a seamless and integrated levels of service utilizing the CRM Recruit, BANNER, and other systems to assist and document the student’s enrollment path.

Performs duties necessary to monitor and coordinate the activities of the purchasing staff. Develops and oversees all tasks necessary to accomplish the College’s purchasing objectives to include; development of RFP, RFQ or RFI to accurately convey College needs to potential vendors; develops appropriate scoring matrix and educates user community on the matrix; negotiates contracts to ensure terms are favorable for the College; maintains College purchasing contracts and manages contract renewals. Senior Project Associate II - Nursing Retention Coach Forest Park Campus
**This position will be located at the Forest Park Campus** The goal of the nursing retention coach is to develop and implement successful retention strategies for nursing students using a systemic approach focusing on social and academic barriers of the student, incorporating various systems within the STLCC network as well as the community. Creating and implementing a culture that focuses on equity, diversity and inclusion is an integral part of achieving a quality nursing program that will have a positive impact on the community in which those graduates will serve. Nursing retention coaches not only support and advocate for students but identify issues that may complicate learning by collecting data that can be analyzed for possible barriers that may affect student retention. Then analyzed data can be used to recommend strategies to minimize barriers.

The Associate, Student Support performs duties necessary to provide a variety of support and resource services for students utilizing services through Student Affairs offices such as TRIO, Counseling, Student Assistance Program (SAP), and the Access office, serving as the primary point of contact for students seeking services.

The Radiologic Technology program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Florissant Valley campus. This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Spring 2025. The new hire and assigned rank will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. The new Radiologic Technology faculty member will be expected to teach, mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the Radiologic Technology program, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the Radiologic Technology Chair to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of radiography to the community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment.
