An Adjunct Instructor is responsible for teaching contracted course(s) in accordance with St. Louis Community College (STLCC) curriculum requirements and meeting STLCC Standards and Mission. In addition, the Adjunct Instructor is contracted to teach and facilitate a meaningful learning experience of the course competencies in the curriculum, proactively supporting all facets of STLCC mission, and working with key members of the academic team to support student success. An Adjunct Instructor is responsible for fostering and encouraging a culture of learning through appropriate delivery methods. |

This person will report to the faculty adviser for newspaper and under indirect supervision, prepares, edits, formats, and writes articles for print and/or the website. Ensures all materials meet established standards of appearance and content. Position requires a) editing, proofreading, and preparing material for publication b) overseeing production schedules; c) serving as liaison between the publication and authors, printers, and/or publishers/administration; and d) leading/guiding volunteer student staff performing related work. |

The CDLC at Florissant Valley is hiring for Childcare Teacher I (requires Associates Degree) and Teacher II (requires Bachelors Degree). performs duties necessary to teach and care for infant through Pre-K children and provide support and constant communication with families. Performs duties necessary to train and supervise college students while providing on-site instruction; assist college students to achieve educational objectives referred by the academic departments (specifically Child and Family Development).Performs duties necessary to develop and implement learning opportunities for children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K.
