The Associate, Library performs duties necessary to provide an excellent experience for library users, including interacting with students, staff, faculty, and public community users, and may order, receive, and process library materials.
Hours of operation are 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility. |
Counselor

Forest Park Campus

Provide direct psychological counseling services to St. Louis Community College students focusing on short-term (and in limited cases longer term) individual and group mental health interventions, crisis interventions, and collaborative referrals to campus and community partners that promote student success and retention. Primary areas of intervention include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, stress, suicidality, and surviving trauma. In addition to providing a variety of individualized clinical mental health services for college students, Counselors also provide mental health consultation, training, outreach, and educational workshops for students, faculty, and staff. Counselors are expected to work within the ethical guidelines of the American Counseling Association and applicable Missouri statutes and remain current in their licensure and counseling skills through an intentional program of professional development activities. |
Healthcare Instructor - Nursing Assistant Training

Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) division is in need of a Part-time Instructor to instruct course material related to the Patient Care Technician healthcare training program. Instructional hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and include lecture and skills lab instruction. Instructors hours are flexible and can vary from 8 hours to 30 hours weekly. Training occurs at all locations including Corporate College, Forest Park, and William J. Harrison Education Center. |
Adjunct Faculty - Psychology (Districtwide, on-campus)

The Social Sciences departments on each of our four main campuses (Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, and Wildwood) are seeking additional adjunct faculty to support enrollment needs in several disciplines. These positions will teach on campus during the day, evening, or weekend hours (in mutual agreement between the adjunct and the department chair). There is an immediate need for faculty for the fall semester later-start courses (beginning Monday, September 22, and Monday, October 20); adjuncts selected for hire will become a part of the adjunct faculty pool of STLCC.
Adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching contracted course(s) in accordance with St. Louis Community College (STLCC) curriculum requirements. All of our faculty teach and facilitate a meaningful learning experience by facilitating the course competencies in the curriculum, proactively supporting all facets of the STLCC mission, and working with key members of the academic team to support student success. Adjunct faculty are responsible for fostering and encouraging a culture of learning through appropriate delivery methods. |
