This position will prepare, set up and maintain the Wildwood Campus science labs. Tasks include monitoring the lab equipment, preparing media and solutions, cell culture, organizing anatomy labs, along with other duties related to the lab. Faculty - MRI Department Wildwood Campus
***This is an onsite position located in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Candidates should apply only if they are able to be physically present and available to work onsite by the start date.*** The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Wildwood campus. This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Fall 2025. The new hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in the profession of MRI and those possessing a graduate degree. The new MRI Program faculty member will be expected to teach and mentor students, coordinate and assess clinical education experiences, fulfill administrative duties within the MRI Program, obtain and maintain programmatic accreditation, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the MRI Program Coordinator to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of MRI to the healthcare community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment.

Coordinator, STEM Academy Florissant Valley Campus
This role is a hybrid position, splitting time evenly between coordination of STLCC’s dual credit/dual enrollment STEM Academy and supporting the recruitment, enrollment, and success of Ritenour High School students who are enrolled – or intend to enroll – at STLCC. During their hours at STLCC, this position works with North County school districts to recruit, enroll, and support students as part of STEM Academy. This program provides students considering a science, technology, engineering or mathematics pathway an opportunity to earn their associate degree while in high school or to complete college credits through dual credit and/or dual enrollment. The STEM Academy Coordinator collaborates with multiple departments and units within the College to provide student-focused support; assists with developing, implementing, and managing all elements of the STEM Academy; partners with corporate sponsor to provide STEM-focused events and career exploration opportunities; assists in the delivery of College-wide initiatives directed to STEM Academy and other dual credit/enrollment students, including information sessions and new student workshops/orientation; and gathers data, inputs data, and provides reports for STEM Academy and other dual credit/enrollment initiatives. This is a temporary, grant-funded position with funding secured for four years.

The Coordinator, Student Retention Programs will be part of a dynamic and visionary team of leaders in the division of Student Affairs. The Coordinator will provide inclusive, growth mindset leadership, innovative vision, and a commitment to key programs in the division, as well as retention and completion goals/initiatives with all constituents throughout the College. The ideal candidate is someone with positive and productive experience working with colleagues to design, implement, and assess successful retention programs.
