In addition, the Online Adjunct Instructor is contracted to teach and facilitate a meaningful learning experience of the course competencies in the curriculum, proactively supporting all facets of STLCC mission, and working with key members of the academic team to support student success. An Online Adjunct Instructor is responsible for fostering and encouraging an online culture of learning through appropriate distance delivery mechanisms.
Manager, TRIO (Student Support Services) Florissant Valley Campus
Provides leadership, planning, and supervision to the federally funded TRIO Student Support Services program, a federally funded grant designed to support low income, first generation, and students with disabilities in reaching their academic goals including college persistence and graduation. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate program services and activities to ensure grant objectives are being met. Oversee TRIO Student Support Services project for continuous improvement. Manage identification, selection, assessment, and notification process for student participants. Plans and conducts retention-directed activities and events including Peer Mentoring and Peer Tutoring programming. Plans and coordinates promotion of the program to a variety of stake holders. Coordinate with college departments including purchasing, finance and accounting, human resources, marketing and information to ensure that program goals are met. Ensure the fulfillment of grant objectives, prepare and submit Annual Performance Reports to U.S. Department of Education, and develop regular reports for District Director of TRIO Programs. Program liaison to TRIO conferences, trainings, US Department of Education Program Officer, campus committees and meetings. Perform any other duties as required in fulfillment of the project.

Lab Supervisor - TRIO Student Support Services Forest Park Campus
Supervises TRIO student workers including Peer Leaders, Mentors and Academic Coaches. Develops and facilitates student worker training, observes mentoring & tutoring sessions, and provides feedback to student workers. Creates a student-centered atmosphere in the lab by ensuring students are provided tutoring and mentoring in a friendly and effective manner. Performs administrative duties necessary to ensure exceptional student services and supports a diverse range of TRIO program events at the campus level. Enters requisitions, reviews timesheets, and assists with TRIO record keeping.
