Supervises TRIO student workers including Peer Leaders, Mentors and Academic Coaches. Develops and facilitates student worker training, observes mentoring & tutoring sessions, and provides feedback to student workers. Creates a student-centered atmosphere in the lab by ensuring students are provided tutoring and mentoring in a friendly and effective manner. Performs administrative duties necessary to ensure exceptional student services and supports a diverse range of TRIO program events at the campus level. Enters requisitions, reviews timesheets, and assists with TRIO record keeping. |

Tutors are responsible for assisting students with the academic challenges they encounter while taking college preparatory classes. Tutors will be responsible for assisting teachers and high school students in classroom learning. Tutors are responsible for assisting students in completing assignments and other program activities. Tutors must be willing to work two Saturdays each month, attend staff meetings and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Tutors must be proficient in one of the following subject areas: English, math (algebra through pre-calculus), Science (biology and/or chemistry), foreign language (Spanish, French, or Latin). |

Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) division is in need of part-time Medical Assistant instructors to prepare existing and new employees for certified Medical Assistant roles in local health organizations. Instructional hours for day instructors are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and include lecture and skills lab instruction. Instructors hours are flexible and can vary from 8 hours to 30 hours weekly. Training occurs at all locations including Corporate College, Forest Park, and William J. Harrison Education Center. Evening instructors work virtually two evenings per week and one Saturday monthly. Hours vary from 8 to 16 hours weekly. |

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals using our pool facilities. Duties include enforcing pool rules and regulations, promptly responding to emergencies, screening participants, and collaborating with a team of lifeguards during special events. |
College Police Officer

The work of the commissioned police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and the general enforcement of laws, ordinances, and College policies. Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and traffic regulation. Police officers also may be assigned duties as training officers. Work involves an element of personal danger. The employee must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. Assignments may include work on special tasks, which call upon specialized abilities and knowledge possessed by the officer. Work assignments can be general or specific and instructions are received from a supervisor who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection, and discussion. |
