Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of special scholarship programs including, but not limited to, athletics, partnership programs, and emergency aid. This includes serving as liaison to all parties involved in the scholarship awarding process, utilizing data analysis in evaluating the efficacy of current scholarship practices, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and NCAA regulations.
This position also assists in the management of the daily operations of the Scholarship Office, which serves both prospective students as well as continuing students at the University. Throughout the year, these operations include the awarding of donor scholarships and evaluating scholarship renewals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
• Two years of financial aid experience; scholarship experience preferred
• Experience with Access and Excel required
• Experience with Banner preferred
Communication and other skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Self-motivated
• Strong organization skills
