This position supports executive level staff and will be responsible for coordinating wide-scale projects for the unit and across the institution related to academic success (i.e., advising, first year experience, academic support, etc.) by handling a wide variety of academic projects. The project coordinator will need to manage tasks autonomously and advise internal and external stakeholders on various policies and/or current issues facing Academic Affairs. This individual may be involved with unique and highly confidential student and/or staff situations, where independent judgment and discretion are paramount. This position will also be responsible for compiling information and preparing various state and federal reports that include sensitive data tracking and analysis. This individual is responsible for coordinating multiple high-level projects within the office and managing competing priorities, which will require independent decision-making skills and discretion are required. Independent judgment is necessary when called upon to make decisions that fall outside established procedures and to maintain an environment of continuous improvement of processes.
