Responsible for informing faculty and staff of institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Serves as liaison between the dept., Dept. Chair and other college offices. Performs confidential administrative and other secretarial duties for the Chairman and faculty, including composing and/or typing correspondence, typing grants, manuscripts, reports, etc. Maintains calendars, makes travel arrangements, attends faculty meetings for minute taking and delivers administrative information and reports. Prepares all personnel paperwork, i.e., PAF's, Change of Status, etc. for faculty, staff and students. Provides administrative assistance and support for the department’s educational programs: residency & student. Assist in maintaining the ACGME accredited Urology Residency Training Program, as needed. Collects data and prepares departmental and institutional reports such as the annual report, equipment inventory, budgets, grants, personnel and other special reports as needed. Coordinates and schedules departmental activities, faculty meetings, laboratory meetings, seminar speakers, etc. Assists Chairman in faculty recruitment process. Performs other related duties as required.
