Film/Video Director Savannah
As the film and video director, you will work with a small team consisting of a writer/producer, content creator, and videographer to ideate and produce approved concepts into finished films. Responsibilities will include developing fully planned projects, developing films’ visual styles, collaborating with internal departments to present a unified vision, and observing viral trends on social platforms to make shareable and relatable content. As the director you will present mood boards and visual references, conduct research for assignments, prepare strategies for production support materials, and shoot film or work closely with the videographer to execute high level imagery. In the position of film and video director, you will manage story arcs, hire and appoint crew members, motivate film subjects to produce their best performance, and provide participants with needed information and on-screen coaching when necessary. It is essential that the director understands the story and narrative of projects, identifies set locations, works within the budget, and can manage conflict on set and in the office. Additional responsibilities include adhering to the production schedule and coordinating with integral production team members. Minimum Qualifications:      Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience Experience in directing and creating elevated imagery to convey a concept as well as managing budgets Must have a creative mindset and exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Should be confident in their ability to motivate others and manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously Must respond positively to feedback and be willing to make changes Travel Required: 10% to 20% Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. As the executive coordinator, you will manage daily operations of the President’s schedule, manage their lunch, and prepare briefing material and talking points for meetings and appearances. Responsibilities include preparing detailed trip itineraries, driving the President, attending meetings, assisting with presidential initiatives, and researching and preparing gifts for university guests. In this position you will manage phone calls, attend all SCAD signature events, submit purchase requisitions, coordinate the President’s personal and business schedule, accompany the President when traveling, and maintain an inventory of supplies.  As the executive coordinator, you will be required to give a timely response to all requests via text, email, or phone. You must be able to understand and follow instructions, and to transmit this information clearly and honestly to the appropriate individuals. You must act with the upmost discretion and employ a high level of tact and confidentiality in this position.
