Professor, UX Design Savannah

University Safety Field Operations Manager Savannah
As the operations manager, you will collaborate, engage with, and oversee six to 10 trained safety officers operating in different assignments related to foot patrols, vehicular patrols, static posts assignments, and bicycle patrols within the SCAD Savannah geography. In this role you will identify and utilize best practices to implement innovative methods of all-encompassing safety and security services for the highest level of service to SCAD and will refine the standards related to the establishment of the internal university safety patrol program to promote job knowledge and enhance SCAD’s visions and commitments. Responsibilities in this position include driving the active engagement of all internal and external stakeholders, conferring with management level university personnel and law enforcement officials on operational and policy matters, and leveraging personal job knowledge related to planning and oversight of special events at the Savannah location. You will be expected to continually improve efforts related to the development, maintenance, and implementation of evolving crime prevention programs and to engage with all levels of law enforcement in the exchange and conveyance of information during criminal investigations and for real-time assessments to determine appropriate staffing and resource deployment. Minimum Qualifications:   • At least four years of security, military, or law enforcement experience and at least two years of management experience • Extensive experience in development and establishment of patrol and staffing programs focusing on training, building extensive job knowledge and skills, customer service, and safety best practices to provide exemplary service deliverables to the university community and guests • Possess a strong demonstrated job-based knowledge Preferred Qualifications:  University specific experience with the relevant compliance requirements of the Clery Act, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and Title IX Certification in the process of conducting threat assessments Certification in the process of conducting special event assessments Certificates, licenses, and registrations: A valid driver's license is required Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. passport within the first six months of employment Travel required: 10% to 20% Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Application Administrator Savannah
As the application administrator, your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive IT application support. This will involve a range of tasks, from installations and upgrades to configuring and administering cloud-based and server-side application software. You will be the go-to person for different functional areas of the college, ensuring the smooth running of our systems. Your responsibilities will also include performing quarterly course archival operations, testing and deploying custom code changes, and developing data feeds between external applications using data migration tools in Salesforce. In this position, you will be expected to customize and develop Salesforce user profiles and rule sets, provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies, and troubleshoot program issues.
Professor, Production Design (Costume) Savannah
SCAD seeks a full-time professor of production design and costume for Fall of 2024 for its Savannah location to inspire and instruct talented students.
Costume Design Sewing Associate Savannah
As the costume design sewing associate, you will work on assigned costumes by hand or machine while maintaining a clean and safe workspace and assisting in fitting, stitching, or other assigned costume duties. In this role you will maintain and alter costumes; maintain storage; and assist students during productions with fabric preparation, pattern layout and marking, garment assembly, and pressing while demonstrating industrial sewing, hand sewing, and fine finishing techniques. The ideal candidate must be able to operate industrial sewing machines and sergers/overlocks while placing an emphasis on quality in construction and finishing techniques.
