As the technician, you will build camera packages for faculty/staff/students in the department, and you must check the camera sensor, lenses for cleanliness, cables for shorts and/or damage, and for any loose screws or slip in gears. The person in this position will work directly with the public, troubleshoot camera operation errors, identify strength and weakness of solutions, and conduct repairs as needed. Responsibilities include entering and maintaining written and electronic data forms, ensuring that students and faculty get the correct equipment in good working order, promptly completing trouble reports to be delivered to the supervisor, and assisting with accurate inventory.

University Safety Analytical Threat Manager Atlanta, Savannah
As the threat manager, you will perform a variety of statistical and analytical research, data collection, and report preparation activities to support the university’s crime and threat reduction and prevention strategies. You will be expected to provide accurate, timely, and relevant analysis of crime patterns, series, and trends that aid in the efficient deployment of university resources and access data from a variety of software platforms and databases to prepare reports to assist in investigations and/or prepare informational and/or threat assessments. It is crucial that you maintain relationships with various local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies to support investigations and ensure information sharing.  In this position you will prepare and present comprehensive reports to management and stakeholders on team activities, analytic findings, and risk management efforts suitable for use in internal investigations and potential legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of crime and threat analysis approaches, practices, and processes and will be skilled in the use of specialized software like ArcGIS, Analyst Notebook, video editing software, camera viewing software, open-source resources, Tiburon RMS, CAD, and Crystal Reports. Additional required skills include planning, organization, and decision making with the ability to work independently. They should have an ability to identify information gaps and  data sources to follow and document trends and patterns of intelligence activities and/or insider threats. Minimum Qualifications:       Associate’s degree in political science, criminology, mathematics, statistics, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a related field; or a cumulative on-the-job experience of at least four years Ability to travel internationally  Preferred Qualifications:       At least two years of experience in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of police data and writing reports Certificates, licenses, and registrations:   Valid driver’s license Travel Required:   10% to 20% Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
