In addition to other duties and responsibilities required in the faculty handbook and the employment agreement, a professor teaches courses, as determined by contact hours, and in accordance with their credentials, university needs and a signed employment agreement. The university, in its sole discretion, may assign the professor to a teaching or non-teaching position as stipulated in the employment agreement. This position is primarily responsible for the care, feeding, grooming, and cleaning of horses for the SCAD Equestrian Center. This position is also responsible for the care and cleaning of horse stalls and equipment used with the horses and keeping stable area neat and clean. Work is performed under the supervision of a the Barn Manager and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through discussions, observations, and evaluation of results achieved.
