As an ISSO adviser, you will help F-1 international students and their dependents recognize the rules and regulations that apply to them and will administer all aspects of SEVIS reporting requirements as a designated school official (DSO). This will include liaising with the SEVIS help desk regarding periodic SEVIS record data fixes, filing extensions of stay, changing of non-immigrant status (COS) applications, traveling abroad, procuring re-entry signatures, ensuring compliance, and handling all other F-1 related applications/procedures. In this position you will issue initial attendance I-20's for F-1 students who have taken a lengthy “leave of absence” from SCAD and advise them on the immigration and academic implications of their return. |
