In collaboration and partnership with the graduate Clinical Psychology program and graduate Department of Social Work program, Residential Living is seeking graduate interns to serve as Residential Well-Being Support Specialists. In this role, graduate interns will support residential students both proactively and reactively around issues that impact their mental health. They will provide workshops and learning opportunities to explore ways to manage stress, anxiety, time management, and emotions. They will help individual students through concerns related to relationship conflicts, mental well-being, and stress related to being a college student. |

Fitness Trainer

The Fitness Trainer position is ideal for Washburn students interested in developing expertise in fitness and wellness through specialized tracks in Individual Training or Group Instruction. This role offers valuable hands-on experience guiding clients in physical activity, supporting healthy lifestyle choices, and promoting long-term wellness. Trainers will engage, educate, and empower members for lifelong health and fitness success.
Primary focus areas are:
-Personal training - Deliver one-on-one sessions, conduct fitness assessments, and design customized exercise programs.
-Group Instruction - Lead group fitness classes in formats such as yoga, cycling, and circuit training.
-Fitness & Wellness Events - Support department events, challenges, and activities.
-Educational Leadership - Conduct at least one educational session as a presentation, clinic, workshop, or seminar. |
Intramural Sports Official

Intramural officials are responsible for officiating and scorekeeping Intramural contests. Intramural events that require officials are flag football, volleyball, outdoor soccer, basketball, indoor soccer, and softball.
Additionally, this position is responsible for the daily operations of the Rock Wall facilities. Student staff ensures the safety of participants, maintenance of equipment, and records of climbers at the rock wall. |
Intramural Supervisor

The Intramural supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of Intramural Sport activities, officials, and scorekeepers while s/he is on duty. Additionally, the Intramural Supervisor is responsible for enforcing all rules and policies established for the Intramural Program. Any problems, questions, or complaints from Intramural participants or personnel should be directed to the Intramural Supervisor. |
