Eastern Michigan University’s (EMU) School of Communication, Media & Theatre Arts (CMTA) is now accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. This position will primarily teach in the Entertainment Design & Technology (ED&T) program with potential to teach classes in related areas within the School, such as Theatre and/or Arts and Entertainment Management. Assistant Professor (College Counseling) Ypsilanti
Eastern Michigan University’s Department of Leadership and Counseling (LDCN) in the College of Education invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in College Counseling. This position is part of a university-wide interdisciplinary cluster hire focused on the mental health and well-being of college students. This position will work in collaboration with faculty from, but not limited to, Social Work, Student Affairs, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy, as well as practitioners in the field, to form the College Student Mental Health Research Collaborative. The collaborative will develop a research agenda that can inform practice and institutional policy formation related to mental health and well-being. The department offers CACREP-accredited master’s degree programs in college counseling and student affairs, school counseling, and clinical mental health counseling. These programs are committed to developing professional counselors who actively promote the well-being of individuals, institutions, and communities through the application of knowledge and skills, enhancing the diversity, dignity, and development of the clients and communities they serve. We operate an in-house Counseling Training Clinic, open to the community, as well as a School-Based Counseling Training Clinic that serves several local schools.
Building Automation Specialist Ypsilanti
Position is responsible for the monitoring, adjustment, programming, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) automation and building integration systems. Position requires a variety of skilled and technical work related to the maintenance, repair, programming, and installation of HVAC/R automation and building integration systems and associated components.
