Candidates must have completed an APA-approved doctoral program in clinical psychology and be eligible for licensure in Michigan within one year. Candidates who can supervise student-clinicians seeing cases across adulthood are also encouraged to apply. Faculty who are actively involved in doctoral mentoring receive a reduced teaching load of six credits (approximately two courses) per semester.

This position is part of a university-wide interdisciplinary cluster hire focused on the mental health and well-being of college students. This position will work in collaboration with faculty from, but not limited to, Social Work, Student Affairs, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy, as well as practitioners in the field, to form the College Student Mental Health Research Collaborative. The collaborative will develop a research agenda that can inform practice and institutional policy formation related to mental health and well-being.
